At its core, the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) role is about partnershipworking side by side with business leaders and teams to shape technology solutions that drive H&V forward. The BSA translates strategy into action by gathering requirements, mapping processes, and supporting system selection and implementation. This role is crucial in driving the company's digital transformation and ensuring the seamless integration of business systems. In addition to defining requirements and managing vendor relationships, the role is hands-on in documenting business processes, developing and executing test plans, and troubleshooting issues to ensure systems run smoothly. Success requires developing a deep knowledge of H&Vs operations spanning sales, manufacturing, operations, and financeas well as the ability to bridge technical and business needs with clear communication and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: Business Partnership & Analysis Partner with business leaders and teams across global locations to identify needs and deliver IT-enabled solutions. Collect, document, and align business requirements, ensuring clear priorities and objectives. Map and document existing business processes and system workflows. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration. Act as the primary liaison between business teams and external vendors or implementation partners. Facilitate clear communication, influence decision-making and align priorities and tasks across diverse teams to keep projects on track. System Implementation, Testing & Support Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new business applications to support organizational goals. Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and test cycles to validate solutions and ensure business user acceptance. Troubleshoot system issues, investigate root causes, and drive timely resolution. Provide ongoing production support, including system maintenance and process optimization. Develop system specifications and create reports and dashboards using appropriate tools. Recommend and champion improvements to processes, systems, and policies, securing leadership approval before implementation. Ensure compliance with H&Vs data privacy standards across all IT systems and platforms. Training & Documentation Develop user guides, training materials, and system documentation. Deliver training sessions and workshops for end users on new systems, tools, and functionality. Thrives on teamwork and consistently seeks to understand and support customer needs. Brings a positive, solutions-focused attitude. Builds strong relationships across both business and technical teams. Working Style Able to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Methodical, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently to resolve problems. Strong root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills. Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to clearly convey complex information at both technical and business levels. Qualifications and Experience Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 5 years of relevant, result-driven experience in IT. Demonstrated experience in selecting, implementing, and supporting cloud-based business systems in a lead or core team role. 12 years of experience leading IT projects with successful outcomes. Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Kanban or Scrum). Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to justify and defend decisions with data and sound reasoning. Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics is a plus. Additional Requirements Ability and willingness to travel to H&Vs global locations as needed.
