$75,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr Role Summary: We are seeking a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to provide direct assistance to both front and back-office professionals across multiple business units. This role is hands-on and requires strong technical problem-solving skills to ensure smooth day-to-day technology operations for a diverse user base. Key Responsibilities: Deliver IT support to employees across North and South America. Respond to issues via phone, email, and service tickets for desktop-related incidents. Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, authorized software, and computer hardware (including peripheral devices). Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime. Support office moves, adds, and changes when needed. Track, update, and resolve service tickets in a timely and accurate manner. Participate in global IT initiatives and project rollouts. Provide both on-site and remote user support. Maintain clear communication with team members on procedures, documentation, and issue resolution. Qualifications & Knowledge: Strong expertise with Windows desktop technologies and hardware support. Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and general networking fundamentals. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with server, voice, and communications infrastructure. Exposure to multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS). Experience with audio/video conferencing solutions. Awareness of market data applications and financial services tools (preferred). Industry certifications (MCP, MCSA, ITIL, or equivalent) are advantageous. Comfort working with Apple devices (Mac, iPad, iPhone). Experience Required: Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience. 5+ years of desktop support experience, ideally within a financial services environment. Additional Requirements: Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and market holidays. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Customer Focus:
