Description Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager to join its team for a portfolio north of Boston. The Senior Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing the management, physical, financial, and administrative operations of the buildings within their portfolio. This individual will oversee a mini-portfolio in close geographic areas while handling the day-to-day functions of the Site Property Manager at their assigned base location. Responsibilities include managing all facets of property operations, resident relations, government housing regulations, budget analysis, revenue and expense management, staff supervision, training, development, and retention. Responsibilities include: Preparing rent increase submissions according to federal/state guidelines; Inspecting office files for accuracy and compliance; Preparing annual operating budgets and monitoring compliance; Processing resident certification/recertification forms; Supervising maintenance and office staff, including performance appraisals and conflict resolution; Coordinating hiring, postings, and terminations with HR; Maintaining positive employee relations; Visiting sites weekly to inspect properties and review operations; Making cost-effective operational recommendations; Conducting resident meetings to address management/tenant issues; Updating resident handbooks; Signing leases and renewals where required; Managing billing and subsidy reimbursements; Attending court hearings and testifying as needed; Logging staff hours and approving overtime; Overseeing EEO and management reviews; Marketing commercial space and negotiating leases, if applicable; Monitoring outreach efforts to meet diversity goals; Reporting building status to owners; Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED with at least 7 years of property management and supervisory experience; Knowledge of recertification processes; Strong organizational and management skills; Ability to work as part of a team; Proficiency with OneSite, Microsoft Office Suite; Experience with LIHTC, Section 8, and other subsidies; Excellent communication and writing skills.
