$79.56 $91.24/hr Job Summary: As a
Senior Security Engineer specializing in ACF2 , youll play a key role in securing the mainframe environment for a global off-price retail leader. Youll assess risk, close access gaps, and lead the implementation of robust security controls ensuring the
confidentiality, integrity, and availability
of critical IT assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer ACF2 mainframe services and lifecycle governance Identify risks and propose actionable remediations Publish and communicate
security standards, frameworks, and roadmaps Guide engineers in secure solution implementation Participate in strategic integration planning (e.g., application-to-application, B2B) Provide enterprise-level guidance on tools, controls, and technologies Document traceability from policy to technology Educate and mentor engineering teams Lead security projects and report findings to leadership Required Experience:
Minimum 10 years as a
Security Engineer supporting ACF2
environments Hands-on experience with
z/OS System Security SSL, Digital Certificate setup, risk assessment, and business continuity planning In-depth knowledge of mainframe environments: z/OS, CICS, DB2, IMS, MQSeries, JES2 Leadership presence with a
subject matter expert (SME)
mindset Nice-to-Have Experience:
Familiarity with ACF2-RACF role-based access governance Integration experience between IBM mainframe and Azure Use of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm, QRadar) in mainframe environments Knowledge of
Privileged Access Governance tools
like CyberArk and TAM-Z Required Skills:
ACF2 Security Administration z/OS Sub-system knowledge (JCL, JES2, SDSF, FTP) Digital Certificate & SSL implementation Preferred Skills:
Security solution design and architecture Privileged Access Governance Role-based access controls (RBAC) SIEM integration (Splunk/QRadar/LogRhythm) IAM toolsets Additional Skills:
