Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida , CareerPhysician is launching a national search for a visionary leader to become the next Director, Cardiac Anesthesia guiding services in Jacksonville and Orlando. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction and management of a clinical department in collaboration with the Director, Nemours Cardiac Center, Florida, aligning with the Nemours Mission and Strategic goals. This physician leader will inspire and exemplify Nemours standards of behavior and facilitate collaboration across the Department of Cardiovascular Services, Nemours Children’s Hospital, and hospital partners within Florida to ensure the highest quality of care. The successful candidate will possess an MD/DO or equivalent degree, ABA board certification with subspecialty certification in pediatric anesthesia, experience or additional training in pediatric cardiac anesthesia, and be eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license. Academic leadership experience and accomplishments, at the level of Associate Professor or Professor at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, are required.
