Responsibilities
Lead complex patent and trademark litigation matters in federal courts, before the PTAB, and at the ITC Manage global IP portfolios for clients across technology and life sciences sectors Develop and execute IP enforcement and monetization strategies tailored to client goals Negotiate licensing agreements, technology transfers, and conduct IP due diligence for corporate transactions Draft and prosecute patent and trademark applications to secure broad protection Provide legal opinions on freedom-to-operate, validity, and infringement risk assessments Collaborate closely with technical and business teams to align IP strategy with product and market objectives Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the growth and leadership of the IP practice

Requirements
J.D. degree and at least 8 years of experience in intellectual property law Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field Admission to the USPTO and at least one state bar Proven track record in complex patent and trademark litigation and prosecution Deep technical understanding of software, hardware, and/or life sciences technologies Expertise in global IP portfolio management, licensing, and enforcement strategies Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills Experience advising clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies
