Java Software Engineer

One of our staffing partners is searching for a Java developer for its retail client with spring boot /Microservices experience along with Cloud platform experience Experience of 2-4 years. Not looking for senior developers due to low pay Salary offered $60-70k per year The staffing company or client will reach directly to the applicants. Role: Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and related modules Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration across services Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies Troubleshoot and resolve production issues Requirements Strong experience in Java programming (Spring Boot, Java EE, or similar frameworks). Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures. Experience with microservices, API management, and serverless computing. Strong proficiency in Java (11+) and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools (Hibernate, JPA) Familiarity with RESTful API design and JSON/XML data formats Understanding of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Preferred Skills: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Knowledge of caching (Redis), messaging (Kafka), and security best practices Exposure to frontend technologies (React, Angular) is a plus
