Expert Systems Architect (.Net)

Job Description 30 month contract, hybrid (up to 50%) in New York, NY The position is requested for New York Workers Compensation Insurance and Insurance Systems. The Systems Architect will perform solution design, development, and implementation tasks related to Workers Compensation, including architectural review of proposed solutions and recommending alternatives to ensure sound foundations. Responsibilities: Create, review, and evaluate technical specifications. Ensure NYSIF ITS compliance with business objectives and requirements. Assist NYSIF staff with project/system integrations with other applications. Support existing infrastructure and forecast efforts with NYSIF ITS. Support Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, and fulfill management review requests. Develop, implement, and maintain software data designs and applications using Oracle Database, SQL, and ETL tools. Support Application Quality Control initiatives. Qualifications: 84+ months of experience guiding large teams or extensive industry experience at the top of the field. 84 months experience applying NYCIRB guidelines and regulations to design and support algorithms for pricing Workers' Compensation and insurance premiums. 84 months experience in designing, developing, supporting, and implementing Workers Compensation and Insurance software for policy renewals, ratings, credits, and audits. 84 months experience in software development related to policy premium calculation following NYCIRB guidelines. 84 months experience with Oracle PL/SQL Programming, including Packages, Types, Objects, Triggers, and Advanced Queuing. 84 months experience as a .NET application developer using TFS and Visual Studio 2015 or newer. 84 months experience with web application development using JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSLT, HTML, and AJAX.
