A Day in the Life What Youll Do Lead test automation efforts across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): requirements, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and industry-standard frameworks Apply recent experience in Test Automation, including GUI-driven tools with emphasis on Eggplant Collaborate with systems engineers, hardware designers, and test engineers to deliver program-level solutions Contribute to Agile/Scrum environments, leveraging modern toolchains (Jira, Confluence, Crucible, Bitbucket, Subversion, Bamboo, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, Coverity) Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve automation workflows to accelerate software quality assurance Work on-site in Huntsville, AL as part of an integrated development and test team Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in STEM discipline with 510 years of software engineering experience (or Masters with 3 years) Proven experience with Python software development Recent professional experience in Test Automation development Exposure to Eggplant Test Automation tools Familiarity with Agile practices and CI/CD pipelines Demonstrated ability to work across product teams to deliver integrated solutions U.S. Citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering with 46 years of experience; OR Masters with 3 years in related engineering Strong, recent experience with Python development Strong, recent hands-on expertise with Eggplant Test Automation Leadership experience in Agile/Scrum environments Security and Trusted User certifications Excellent collaboration and communication skills with proven success interfacing across engineering disciplines and management levels Who is Caribou Thunder?
