The position of ServiceNow IRM Engineer will be a part of a dynamic and growing team within the GRCT organization at ***. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing scalable and optimal solutions across the Compliance & Risk domains with hands-on configuration experience in the ServiceNow platform, utilizing cutting-edge technology to support business needs. They will leverage their ServiceNow experience along with business and technical knowledge to develop and implement strategies with business partners, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. The candidate will participate in a wide range of activities across the portfolio, supporting functional capabilities and working primarily with Engineers, Product Owners, Staff Architects, and Staff Engineers.
Responsibilities include:
Ensuring the timely delivery of development projects, involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, implementation, and documentation.
Completing technical and implementation design documentation.
Providing estimates for design, build, test, and implementation phases.
Conducting implementation and code reviews to ensure standards are met, and mentoring team members on design and coding techniques.
Updating program specifications and implementation documentation.
Working with the scrum team to prepare configurations for production.
Participating in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, reviewing test scripts, and aligning with testing strategies.
Escalating issues, providing feedback, and proposing changes to specifications.
Consulting with product owners and providing recommendations to meet requirements.
Contributing to technical roadmaps and architectural decisions, including tooling evaluations and security assessments.
Participating in agile scrum teams using tools like Rally.
Minimum qualifications include:
3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including IRM solutions/components.
Experience with configurations, workflows, scripting, UI policies, ACLs, integrations, and CMDB in ServiceNow.
Proficiency in programming methodologies such as JavaScript, API (RESTful), XML, Java, Jelly scripting, AngularJS.
Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical solutions to diverse audiences.
Understanding of GRC/IRM industry trends.
Overall 8+ years of development experience.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Preferred qualifications include:
Knowledge of GCP.
Experience in systems analysis and programming.
Building and executing JS utilities.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator credential.
Conceptual architecture knowledge.
5+ years of experience with Agile and Scaled Agile Frameworks.
Knowledge of Machine Learning or Generative AI is a plus.
