Gormat is looking for a Sensors Technical Lead with the following capabilities:Experience with NIST standards for software and hardware development and cybersecurityStrong understanding of the DoD acquisition process, systems engineering lifecycle, and product management principlesHands-on experience with systems integration, test and evaluation, and technical risk mitigationFamiliarity with DoD IT systems, tactical platforms, or mission systems (C4ISR, EW, cybersecurity, etc.)Experience related to Data modeling, Data Architect, or in the information assurance and/or cybersecurity fieldExperience supporting a DoD Program of Record or Rapid Capability OfficeKnowledge of Agile software development and DevSecOps environmentsUnderstanding of JCIDS, DoDAF, and DoD IT architecture standardsExperience with cybersecurity compliance and system accreditationFamiliar with SAFe and JIRAAbility to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesHands-on personality, get entrenched with product and constant engagement with stakeholdersStrong written communication and briefing skillsServe as the primary technical authority for one or more Sensors PMO products, systems, or capabilitiesTranslate operational needs into technical requirements and product specificationsSupport the full lifecycle of product development, including concept development, prototyping, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainmentGuide engineering teams in technical decision-making and system architectureValidate and assess system designs for performance, security, and mission suitabilityParticipate in and support technical reviews (e.g., PDR, CDR, TRR) and readiness assessmentsCollaborate closely with stakeholders including acquisition program managers, developers, and end users to ensure alignment with mission objectivesProvide expert recommendations on product upgrades, obsolescence mitigation, and lifecycle improvementsReview and contribute to technical documentation, including Interface Control Documents (ICDs), System Requirements Specifications (SRS), and Test PlansSupport accreditation and certification processes (e.g., Risk Management Framework (RMF), ATOs)Monitor performance metrics and user feedback to inform future product development and enhancementsEducation RequirementsBachelor's Degree in relevant field with 12+ years related experience, 8+ years of experience in a product-focused technical role supporting the DoD or Intelligence CommunityMaster's Degree in relevant field with 10+ years related experienceCertificationsCertification in PMP, DAWIA (Level II/III in Engineering or Program Management), or Systems Engineering (INCOSE CSEP)Must Have an ACTIVE TS/SCI With CI Poly.
