POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Leverage Salesforce Public Sector foundation (formerly Vlocity) configuration and/or customization to build and deliver Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements. Design, document, and review detailed functional and system specifications, along with program-specific actions to ensure requirements and business needs are met. Maintain a strong understanding of the Salesforce Public Sector data model, adopting a 'Salesforce Public Sector First' approach. Participate in multiple programming activities and projects, adhering to SDLC and agile practices. Perform analysis, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation tasks. Create workflows of varying complexity leveraging the Salesforce Public Sector (Vlocity) data model platform. Develop APEX classes and triggers, VisualForce pages, and Lightning Web Components. Create integrations using Salesforce APIs to connect with other systems, including legacy systems. Review custom code, make technical adjustments, and provide recommendations. Manage organization-wide defaults, permission sets, role hierarchies, workflows, and perform platform configuration tasks such as creating reports and dashboards. Estimate time and resources needed for tasks, review estimates for accuracy. Follow DoIT coding standards, best practices, and be familiar with test-driven development and low/no-code solutions. Collaborate with Salesforce administrators on release cycles for deploying new functionalities and updates. Align with Salesforce best practices and ensure data security, especially for PHI/PII/PCI. Skills and Technologies:
5-8 years of experience with Omniscripts, Omnistudio, VisualForce, Lightning Web Components, Flex Cards, IDX, Dataraptor, Integration Procedures, Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP), Middleware, MuleSoft, or ETL tools. 5-8 years of experience with APEX, SOQL, workflows, SDLC, and Agile SCRUM. Experience setting up environments for Salesforce public sector solutions. Preferred: Experience with Copado, certifications as Salesforce Developer and Administrator.
