Job Overview
We seek a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in building scalable, high-quality cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate has a hands-on, solution-focused approach and thrives in an agile, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include system design, development, deployment, mentoring, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API.
Architect and implement full-stack solutions with modern front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular.
Lead technical design sessions and code reviews, providing constructive feedback.
Collaborate with teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
Implement microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
Drive DevOps practices including CI / CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure DevOps).
Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Perform root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement.
Mentor junior team members and promote engineering excellence.
Define and ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and availability standards.
Create technical documentation, including design documents and guidelines.
Review architecture and design for extensibility, security, and best practices.
Develop and design solutions for functional and non-functional requirements.
Relate technology integration scenarios and apply learnings to projects.
Resolve issues through systematic root cause analysis and justify decisions.
Carry out POCs to validate proposed designs and technologies.
Required Skills / Experience
MS or BS in Computer Science or related discipline.
10+ years in architecture and development with C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, Entity Framework, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and unit testing.
Proficiency with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular.
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, Microservices, REST, and SOA.
Experience with DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, NPM, Terraform, ARM, IIS.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
Knowledge of Design Patterns and secure coding practices.
Experience with source control solutions like GIT.
Expertise in developing scalable, cloud-native applications.
Knowledge of Warehouse or Supply Chain Management systems is a plus.
Ability to collaborate across multiple organizational groups.
Location : Charlotte, NC; Florham Park, NJ; Miramar, FL; Houston, TX. The role supports working from home 2 days/week.
Starting Salary : $105,000 - $113,000 USD
Benefits : Full-time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match.
The stated pay range is an estimate; final salary will be discussed with the candidate, considering market conditions and location.
