Environmental Engineer ( Civil )
Woodbury, NJ
Starting Salary: $90,000-$120,000 (Based on experience)
Responsibilities
Experience with water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including: treatment plants, storage tanks, pumping stations, distribution systems, and collection systems Proven ability and proficiency with interpreting and preparing engineering designs, plans and specifications Strong written and oral communication skills for conveying information to regulators, contractors, clients, and the public Ability to work self-motivated and under light supervision in a multidisciplinary environment Will join a team of engineers on a variety of exciting and dynamic municipal water and sewer projects Requirements
Must have storm environmental or water and sewer engineering background Water/Wastewater Design Engineer (5-7) years of experience Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical engineering Professional Engineer (PE) License or Engineer- in Training (EIT) advancing toward PE licensures 5+ years minimum relative field experience in storm water management Must have EIT certification Strong knowledge of land surveying laws, regulations and industry best practices Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration
