Insight Global is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a leading equipment manufacturer within the semiconductor industry in Chandler, AZ. This individual will be the primary Engineer responsible for two Ion Beam tools and will oversee everything from install to sustainment of the equipment. This role can be up to 50% travel between other customer sites in NM, CA, OR as you will also be the backup for those locations. For the first 4-5 months this individual will be on-site in Oregon learning the equipment and becoming the subject matter expert for this toolset. Upon completion of the training this Engineer with spearhead the install of these tools and eventually pivot into a sustaining role. As the Primary Engineer youll work hand in hand with the end client, clarifying any questions the team has and ensuring that the equipment is running as efficiently as possible. Strong documentation and communication skills is a must for this team as you will be responsible for providing updates to the team directly along with documenting equipment updates within their software. Travel will be determined by preventative maintenance requirements or reactive maintenance requests as this individual will act as the backup subject matter expert for these new tools across other client sites. Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Prior military experience in a hands on / troubleshooting MOS10+ Years of experience sustaining / installing semiconductor equipment Experience troubleshooting Ion Beam Etching Equipment or CD SEM Equipment Prior experience interfacing directly with customers as an OEM representative Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems Ability to work overtime and travel to other sites on an as needed basis
