Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Geotechnical / CMT Project Manager:
#1. Professional Engineer (PE) registration or ability to obtain within 6 months.
#2. Shallow and deep foundation analysis, pavement design and analysis and Construction materials testing experience.
#3. Manage a small group of 2-4
#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10yrs.
Responsibilities of the Geotechnical / CMT Project Manager:
The Project Manager will be involved in all phases of a project including proposal preparation, managing and/or performing field engineering and testing, engineering analysis, report writing, consultation, invoice preparation, client contact and correspondence. Technical analysis and reporting Providing oversight of field staff Providing consultation/evaluation for field related concerns Client interaction and project management duties Performing field evaluations and inspections Classification of soils during drilling operations Requirements of the Geotechnical / CMT Project Manager:
Bachelors or masters degree in a related discipline Professional Engineer (PE) registration or ability to obtain within 6 months is required 5 or more years of experience is preferred Strong written/verbal communication skills Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the companys driving (MVR) policy. Expectations include technical abilities in some or all of the following:
Shallow and deep foundation analysis Pavement design and analysis Construction materials testing procedures. Special Inspection procedures and requirements Other Key Requirements:
