ABOUT THE POSITION

GPSN is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Director of Operations. This role reports to the Managing Director and is responsible for designing, analyzing, and managing systems that ensure the organization’s financial and operational health. The Director will lead key functions in strategic planning, operations, fundraising, and finance, supporting accounting, reporting, budgeting, and financial controls. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing financial processes such as payroll, accounts payable and receivable, internal controls, vendor management, and budget tracking, coordinating with external accountants for accurate records. Managing organizational operations including leases, contracts, MOUs, grant compliance, and engaging professional support from legal, accounting, and auditing firms as needed. Ensuring office support systems, technology, policies, and procedures operate efficiently, including procurement of equipment and supplies. Supporting governance functions such as preparing quarterly updates, budget reports, annual audits, IRS and state filings, and other compliance activities. Managing HR functions, including payroll, onboarding, and benefits administration.
