Pay range: $45-79/hr depending on experience. Position: RWE Data Scientist (contractor), V&E Real World Evidence Analytics. Purpose: Responsible for designing, planning, and executing large-scale data analysis and algorithm development to identify gaps in care and measure impact using RWD. Acts as a technical subject matter expert on RWE analytics, managing analytical needs within assigned therapeutic areas, standardizing coding conventions, and communicating complex data insights effectively. Responsibilities:
Lead analytics efforts within assigned therapeutic areas. Present analysis results and insights to diverse audiences. Identify and utilize internal and external data resources. Design and execute analysis plans; collaborate with medical and business teams. Ensure timely delivery of projects within a complex matrix organization. Coordinate with medical engagement, HEOR, RWE CoE, and other teams regarding findings and quality control. Translate business needs into project concepts and data dictionaries. Qualifications:
Masters degree in Statistics or related field required; PhD preferred. 1-2 years experience in analytics programming (SAS, SQL, R, Python); Python and machine learning experience preferred. Ability to develop production code macros and solve problems independently. Experience in real-world evidence generation and large medical claims data analysis.
