SAP ABAP Software Engineer III

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives. Job responsibilities Design, develop, and support application solutions with focus on SAP S/4 HANA. Develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components and integrate software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms. Implement and deploy SAP UI5 applications, including custom extension development and configuration for user roles, catalogs, and groups. Work with various UI/UX technologies like HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JSON, XML, AJAX, SVG standards, JavaScript frameworks like jQuery, D3, MVC Development framework. Design and develop interfaces/utilities for SAP Automations and Test Automations using various tools. Help design and implement Automated Unit testing frameworks to promote best practices using ABAP Units, ABAP Double, Q-Units, Sinon.js. Develop RESTful and SOAP-based API interfaces for SAP components for external consumption or cloud deployments. Work within Agile / DevOps frameworks to enable CI/CD, including working on Solution Manager components. Design frameworks to create prototypes using wireframe tools and facilitate Design Thinking methodologies. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience. Experience with S/4 HANA implementations. Data modeling skills using HANA Studio, ABAP Development Tools (ADT), and related SAP HANA tools. Prototype, develop, and deploy custom SAP UI5 applications using HANA Cloud Platform and Web IDE. Design and develop applications consuming ODATA services, Fiori Apps, and Theme Design, with Object-Oriented Programming using ABAP Objects, RESTful APIs, HANA CDS views, and RICEF development. Experience in implementation, upgrade, maintenance, and post-production support projects. Knowledge of Solution Manager components like BPCA, Charm, and Focus Build. Knowledge of RPA tools like Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, WinAutomation. Knowledge of Test Automation tools like UFT, Panaya, Tosca. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience working in Agile projects. Strong verbal and written communication skills with business partners and IT analysts in a multicultural environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
