This hybrid associate attorney position based out of our San Diego office in Mission Valley. After training, the attorney will work from home two or more days per week. The ideal candidate will manage their own cases, supported by another attorney, paralegal, and legal assistants.

Responsibilities

  • Interviewing clients and witnesses
  • Drafting complaints
  • Discovery
  • Court hearings
  • Mediations
  • Settlement

Qualifications

  • Admitted to practice law in California or Washington
  • 2 or more years of litigation experience, preferably in the area of class actions and/or employment law
  • Strong legal knowledge and judgment
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • $115,000 to $205,000 per year
  • Annual bonus based on firm and personal performance
  • 401(k)

  • Hybrid after initial training period (typically 2 days scheduled from home plus attorneys can take additional days from home when they are in mediation)
  • No billable hour requirement
