Plant Human Resources Manager

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials, operating over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This position supports our Union Bridge, MD cement plant and logistics teams in the Northeast and Midwest regions.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals.
• Managing employee relations, addressing grievances and demands.
• Recruiting and selecting union hourly and salaried positions.
• Supporting business needs through human capital development, engagement, and motivation.
• Overseeing performance management and talent development systems to drive high performance.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of HR systems and databases; Workday preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
• Deep understanding of labor law and HR best practices, with prior union environment experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Salary range: $104,860 - $139,813.
