Work model:

- Serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Support labor relations activities, including contract interpretation, grievance handling, and union communications
- Administer HR policies and procedures consistently across the facility
- Partner with supervisors and managers to coach on performance management and employee development
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for hourly and salaried staff
- Support safety initiatives, attendance tracking, and disciplinary processes
- Collaborate with payroll and benefits teams to ensure smooth HR operation
- Contribute to HR reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
- 5-7 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong background in labor relations and employee relations, including union experience
- Working knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, NLRA, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to build trust and credibility with employees at all levels
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
