What You'll Do
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making
- Develop and maintain financial models to project future performance and provide recommendations based on trends, risks, and opportunities
- Lead the financial planning and forecasting processes for the operating unit
- Provide in-depth plan and forecast to actual variance analysis, with a focus toward gap closure
- Evaluate capital investments to ensure alignment with business objectives with the highest returns for the Company
- Develop and maintain key financial metrics and dashboards to communicate performance to leadership
- Ensure all financial practices comply with CMC policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring a strong control environment is in place
- Work with Director of Finance to ensure business unit objectives are aligned to Divisional and Corporate strategic objectives
- Support special projects as needed
- Robust financial statement modeling
- Strong quantitative, analytical & problem solving skills, with ability to use analysis, judgment & logic to solve problems and make decisions
- Deep curiosity of profit drivers and ability to use multiple financial systems to mine data
- Ability to understand, analyze, and communicate the story to management
- Proven ability to influence decision making that drives business success
- Manage and prioritize multiple deadlines and meets them with quality and accuracy
- Effectively collaborates with various teams to gather and analyze financial information
- Can build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization
- Minimum 7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or other related field. Previous distribution or manufacturing experience required.
- Proficiency with SAP and MS Office; especially with Excel and PowerPoint.
- SAP BPC and FACTS knowledge preferred
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting, or other business related field
