Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Director of Financial Reporting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $170,000 to $190,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and Proxy statements.
• Ensure GAAP compliance for product costs, inventory, and warranty accounting, including maintaining all related reserves.
• Coordinate the annual audit and quarterly reviews with external auditors, including preparing audit schedules and technical memos.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with the distribution of the Annual Report.
• Support the CFO with ad hoc projects, special reporting, and financial analysis as needed.
  

Requirements

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of GAAP, FASB pronouncements, and SOX 404 compliance.
• Utilize integrated accounting software, report writers, and the Microsoft Office Suite proficiently.
• Communicate effectively and lead with professionalism, accountability, and motivation.
• Accept new challenges with enthusiasm and maintain a calm, mature demeanor.
• Collaborate across departments and contribute to a high-performing finance team.
  

Qualifications

• A Bachelors degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
• Maintain an active CPA license.
• 5+ years of experience at a national CPA firm, preferably Big 4.
• 3+ years of direct SEC reporting experience.
• Leverage experience with MAS 200/500 or similar ERP systems to support reporting functions.
