Position: Director of Operations (HYBRID)
Role Overview
This is a high-impact startup role focused on leading bookkeeping, advisory, migration, and tax delivery, while also designing scalable systems and managing offshore delivery capabilities. As the team stabilizes, the role will evolve into strategic leadership, overseeing operations and driving organizational growth.
Location: East Coast (Charlotte preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Execution & Team Leadership
- Serve clients directly, conduct quality reviews, and mentor junior team members
- Ensure high-quality and efficient delivery of services
- Build scalable workflows and manage offshore teams
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team in a startup environment
- Business Development
- Engage with the Odoo U.S. community and develop relationships with Odoo partners
- Manage inbound leads from marketing and web traffic
- Lead the full services proposal process, from preparation to client onboarding
- Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with senior executives to execute business strategy
- Define and implement U.S. growth goals aligned with broader objectives
- Drive client acquisition, build partnerships, and represent the company at events and meetings
- Bachelor's degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- U.S. CPA or in the process of completion
- Minimum 5 years of experience in audit or accounting (Big Four or equivalent)
- Familiarity with Odoo ERP accounting modules is a plus
- Proven leadership experience in professional services or accounting tech
- Excellent communication and project management skills
