This position requires floating to various departments, including the Emergency Room (ER) and Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing with experience in managing ventilators, titratable IV drips, and delivering comprehensive patient hygiene care. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver total care for ICU patients, ensuring safety and quality of care.- Monitor and manage patients on ventilators and titratable drips.- Provide hygiene care and assist with other patient needs.- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.- Float to ER and Med-Surg departments as needed.- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in the MedHost EMR system. Qualifications: - Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and TNCC.- Prior experience in Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical settings.- Strong clinical skills in handling ventilators and mixing medications.- Ability to work effectively under pressure with a patient ratio of 1:2-3.- Flexibility to accommodate floating and holiday shifts. Work Environment: - ICU unit with a total of 12 beds.- No on-call requirements.- Blocked scheduling may be accommodated upon request. Please Note: Fingerprints are required for all traveling nurses.
