Value Stream Manager
Eaton's IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Value Stream Manager. Eaton's Charleston, SC location has long served as a Machining Center of Excellence for our Aerospace Group, with just under 200 employees, manufacturing hydraulic pumps for commercial and military aircraft. This is a Full-Time (M-F Daylight) role. The expected annual salary range for this role is $ - $ a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you'll do: The Value Stream Manager will manage the high-performance work team and coordinate production activities and resources per established practices and/or policies within the job area to ensure the timely delivery of quality parts that meet or exceed customer expectations. In this role, you will establish and maintain a positive employee relations environment by adherence to Eaton's Values, Ethics and Philosophies.
In this function you will:
- Proactively implement, promote, and maintain a safe working environment through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, and policy enforcement
- Manage operational process to track and understand key operational metrics and develop action plans to improve operational performance
- Partner with supply chain to ensure continuous alignment between demand forecasts and load/capacity plans to optimize schedule execution
- Increase employee engagement and accountability to create a high performing culture
- Develop and maintain the staffing strategy for the department
- Drive continuous improvement programs and process improvements by applying the Eaton Business System and problem-solving tools
- Hold dotted line reports accountable through tier 2 meetings and daily accountability tracking
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 3+ years of manufacturing or operations experience
- 1+ year of supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future

Preferred Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Business, Manufacturing, or Engineering
- Prior machining or manufacturing engineering experience
- Experience leading in a cross-functional environment
- Experience utilizing Lean Manufacturing tools
- Experience with quality control techniques and quality systems (e.g. QS 9000, ISO 14001, ISO-9001, AS9100)
