Founded in 1927, the Vantage group employs over 900 staff in multiple locations across the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom.The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for developing and planning Quality Control (QC) initiatives for manufacturing in all areas of the business. Duties will also include developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) along with the manufacturing team. He or she will also be instrumental in reducing costs through continuous process improvement (CPI) programs, optimizing quality management performance, analyzing manufacturing and quality system capabilities, driving continuous improvement projects, and creating quality control plans for new products. Additional responsibilities include providing direction for the Quality Administrator, Quality Assurance Engineer(s), and QC Technician/Inspector(s).RequirementsWe are searching for a candidate with:Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
