Description Job Summary:The Production Manager is responsible for all production goals and the production of quality PVC pipe for the TN location.Job Responsibilities: Evaluate daily production and machine operating conditions Direct and plan daily work schedule incorporating equipment preventative maintenance Comply and ensure all production employees are always following safety policies and company procedures Verify production reports for accuracy and completion in a timely manner Coordinate and evaluate production scheduling based on sales projections to ensure there is an adequate inventory of supplies and staffing to meet production goals Provide leadership and training to subordinates to promote continual growth in job, skill, and knowledge Monitor product quality on a routine basis to ensure the finished product meets/exceeds NSF and ASTM standards Evaluate plant operations to ensure maximum efficiency, minimize production down time, and scrap goal levels are achieved daily/ monthly Process formulation tests to ensure a cost-efficient quality product allows Sanderson Pipe to be competitive in the sales market Responsible for all production employees' performance reviews are done in a timely manner Promote morale amongst all employees to encourage a teamwork environment Order supplies for the department Generate Scrap Summary Reports Attend daily production meetings and work closely with other department managers Perform other tasks as assigned by Plant Manager Position Requirements Essential Functions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Work with and promote a safety mindset environment Ability to read, write and do mathematical problem solving Must have Leadership and Management skillsEducation Requirements: High School Diploma or GED (required) 5 years of Manufacturing experience in a leadership role Forklift experiencePhysical Requirements: Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
