Job Summary:The Manufacturing Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the plant, from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They develop processes that maximize productivity, quality, and safety while maintaining compliance with regulatory and company standards. The role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who can motivate and manage teams, drive continuous improvement, achieve business objectives and our Five Guiding Principles.Key Responsibilities:Plan, organize, direct, and run day-to-day plant operations to meet production goalsManage staff performance, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team membersEnsure production meets quality control standards, deadlines, and cost objectivesImplement and sustain lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiativesMonitor equipment and ensure proper maintenance schedules are followedDevelop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, delivery, and costEnforce health and safety protocols and promote a culture of safetyManage budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation effectivelyCollaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and maintenance departmentsEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership roleStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen)Proven ability to manage plant operations, budgets, and personnelExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsProficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Qualifications:Lean Six Sigma Certification
