About the Role:
As a Trust Officer, you'll manage a portfolio of moderate to complex trust and estate accounts, develop multi-generational client relationships, and advise clients on trust and estate planning strategies. You'll serve as a key relationship manager and fiduciary expert-representing the firm with professionalism, technical skill, and care.
What You'll Do:
- Administer and manage complex personal trust and estate accounts
- Serve as a relationship manager for UHNW clients and their families
- Interpret trust documents, review legal correspondence, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide guidance on fiduciary, tax, investment, and estate planning matters
- Participate in in-person client meetings and represent the firm in the community
- Mentor and educate junior staff on trust and estate topics
- Partner with leadership to drive process improvements and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in trust and estate administration
- Strong working knowledge of DE Trust law (preferred)
- Experience interpreting trust instruments and applicable fiduciary rules
- CTFA designation (preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
