Position Summary:
The Corporate Controller will report directly to the CEO and oversee accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance functions. This requires a strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory controls, ERP and analytical systems in manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate brings both leadership capabilities and a detail-oriented, analytical mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all accounting functions, including GL, A/R, A/P, payroll, and fixed assets
Lead month-end and year-end close processes with timeliness and accuracy
Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies in compliance with GAAP
Manage the preparation of financial statements, forecasts, and variance analysis reports
Oversee cost accounting processes and inventory valuation
Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve financial visibility and performance. Drive ERP utilization &
enhancement (Macola/similar experience helpful)
Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial partners
Supervise and mentor the accounting team; promote a culture of continuous improvement, plan approaching retirement
transitions
Help executive leadership manage strategic initiatives, financial planning, and risk
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5-7 years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership/Controller role
Strong experience in manufacturing, medical device industries preferred
Expertise in GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory accounting
ERP experience required (Macola, NetSuite, or similar)
Proficient in Excel and financial reporting tools
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Proven ability to lead teams through periods of growth and change
Work Environment
- Primarily office-based, with potential for hybrid work up to 2 days per week.
Physical Requirements
- Mobility: Ability to work at a desk for prolonged periods, utilizing a computer and other standard office equipment.
- Communication: Must effectively communicate financial information both verbally and in writing.
- Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of hands for typing and handling documents.
- Lifting: Occasionally required to lift and carry items such as files or boxes, up to 20 pounds.
