Sinclair is seeking a Regional Human Resources Manager for multiple locations to provide support and guidance on HR matters by working closely with local HR representatives, management, and Corporate HR.

Key attributes include enthusiasm, excellent communication, and attention to detail. Some overnight travel and visits to other TV stations will be required.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting multiple operations across all HR functions
  2. Developing understanding of company culture and personnel
  3. Managing regional HR operations and acting as on-site HR representative
  4. Coaching HR contacts and advising management on performance, development, and disciplinary issues
  5. Investigating complaints and resolving HR matters
  6. Ensuring compliance with employment laws including FMLA, FLSA, ADAA, EEO, and California regulations
  7. Maintaining HR systems such as Oracle Cloud HRIS
  8. Handling labor relations, policy interpretation, and leave administration
  9. Guiding recruitment, onboarding, and employee benefits
  10. Conducting exit interviews, safety, workers' compensation, and HR audits
  11. Executing corporate HR initiatives

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
  2. 7+ years of HR generalist experience in a fast-paced environment
  3. Broadcast or media/labor relations experience preferred
  4. Strong problem-solving, independence, communication, and customer service skills
  5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Oracle HRIS experience a plus
