Job Title: Float Pool Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 26 weeks Shift: 3x12 Day Shifts, 7am - 7pm EOW/Holiday rotations & 2 OC shifts per 4-weeks Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in floating to Med/Surg, ICU, and ER License: Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required. Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire. CPI certification within 90 days of hire. Must-Have: Must be comfortable floating to ICU, ER, Med/Surg. BSN required. Critical care experience required. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills. Description: Shift rotation includes 3x12 day shifts from 7am to 7pm. Mandatory holiday rotations. 2 On-Call shifts per 4-week period. No On-Call required for 48-hour contract. Facility requires proficiency in multiple units including Med/Surg, ICU, and ER. Certifications by the Emergency Nurses Association recommended within 2 years of hire. TNCC is also recommended within 2 years of hire. Exemplifies healthy relationships and teamwork. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care.
