Pay Information $2,074 per week About The Position Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: L&D Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, Intermediate fetal monitoring or above, STABLE for nursery Must-Have Skills/Experience: Prefer nurse with at least one year of experience in OB. Description: Responsible for providing safe and effective nursing care to patients during labor and delivery. Cares for newborns in the nursery setting. Maintains patient safety and health outcomes as a priority. Works in a low-volume OB unit with less than 15 deliveries per month. Ensures compliance with all hospital protocols and standards. Utilizes general OB equipment and electronic health records. Will float between units if necessary due to census. Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care. Common diagnoses include labor and delivery cases and nursery care. Candidates should be committed to delivering exceptional care and supporting patients and families throughout the birthing process.
