Pay Information $2,385 per week About The Position Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required License: Valid RN License Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRPS Must-Have: - Experience with EPIC charting system. - Ability to work with high-risk antepartum, labor, postpartum, and newborn care. - Proficient in managing a patient ratio of 1:3 couplet and 1:1 during intrapartum. Description: This position requires a registered nurse specializing in labor and delivery. The nurse will oversee care during antepartum, labor, postpartum, and for newborns. Experience with high-risk deliveries is essential. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients using EFM and IUPC techniques. Proficiency in managing medication drips, including insulin and magnesium sulfate therapy, is required. Responsibilities include circulating for C-sections and recovering C-section patients. Candidates must be familiar with maintaining central lines and performing sterile vaginal exams. Weekend shifts may be required as needed. This position does not require floating between units. Candidates will also be responsible for triaging obstetrical patients.
