Pay Information $1,838 per week About The Position Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years strongly preferred License: SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required Certifications: BLS, Clienttion Badge Must-Have: Scrub experience strongly preferred On-call requirement: Yes, 1 call shift per week Weekend requirement: Up to one working weekend shift per month Holiday requirement: Must work at least one holiday period Description: The position requires an Operating Room Registered Nurse. The shift is day shifts working 3x12 hours. The candidate will be required to be on call for one shift per week. Weekend shifts will be required up to one time per month. The traveler must be available to work at least one holiday period during the assignment. Scrub experience is strongly preferred for this role. The nursing team consists of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists. Nurses are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The facility is a teaching hospital within a Level I trauma center. It has multiple operating rooms covering various surgical specialties. The department is a dynamic, nurse-driven environment. All travelers should be open to accommodating block schedules if approved by management. Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. RTO must be included at the time of submission and cannot be changed afterward. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, they may be assigned to emergency response teams. This may affect the confirmation of new or extended assignments during that season. Travelers should not confirm new assignments during hurricane season.
