Pay Information $2,420 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Boarder Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Rotating Shifts (Days/Eves/Nights), Holidays, On Call, Callback, Weekends as needed Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience, Tele experience preferred License: Client RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - NYS RN License - 2 years of Med/Surg experience - BLS certification - ACLS certification - NIHSS certification Description: This is a fast-paced Adult Emergency Department that manages more than 100,000 visits a year. It is one of the busiest trauma centers in the country and is a Level I trauma hospital. The position involves treating a diverse patient population with various diagnoses. Nurses will only be responsible for the care of med/surg boarder patients within the Emergency Department. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5 with assistive personnel available. No prior Emergency Department experience is required.
