The team cares for adult and pediatric patients in a busy oncology clinic. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, patient assessments. The role involves patient education and telephone triage. Care coordination is also a key responsibility. The RN will assist with a variety of special exams, including the administration of contrast dye and IV fluids. The treatment team cares for patients with cancers of the head, neck, lung, prostate, breast, skin, and other diagnoses. Recent radiation oncology experience is preferred. Experience accessing ports is required.
