The unit primarily cares for procedural cardiac patients. Patients include those undergoing TAVR procedures and other catheterization lab interventions. Vascular surgery patients are also cared for on this unit. The unit has 9 beds capable of flexing to step-down unit level of care. This flexibility meets the needs of vascular surgery patients. These procedures include carotid surgeries and bypass operations. The team collaborates to provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills are essential for this role. Nurses will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
