As a privately held company with solid financial backing, they've experienced steady growth over the past decade. To support this continued expansion, they're looking to add an additional Quality Manager, with a focus on their growing aerospace operations.Job DescriptionDevelop and maintain quality control standards, policies and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements in accordance with AS9100.Lead and mentor a team of quality technicians and inspectorsCollaborate with production, engineering and sales departments to identify and address quality related issues and develop effective solutions.Help conduct thorough inspections and audits of products/services at various stages to identify defects, deviations or non-conformitys.Communicate with customers to ensure all aspect of quality are being metPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrenceMaintain documentation for quality control processes. The Successful ApplicantProven experience in quality assurance roles within a CNC precision manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of QMS (AS9100 and ISO 9001) and familiarity with aerospace industry.Strong GD&T experience.
