Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/08/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Location: Washington, DC 20032 Shift: day 12 hr /( 3 x 12)hour shifts per week /7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Contract Duration: 13weeks Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $2,645.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $720.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,925.00 Per Week Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join the team at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center . This is a fast-paced environment that manages a wide range of patient populations including urgent care, pediatrics, psychiatric, trauma, and critical care. The ideal candidate will be skilled in emergency care, capable of managing critical care situations, and comfortable working with diverse patient needs. Responsibilities include medication titrations, arterial line management, mass blood transfusions, and chest tube care. Key Responsibilities: Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department. Triage, assess, and prioritize patients according to their medical needs. Collaborate with physicians and other interdisciplinary team members. Monitor and manage critically ill patients, including those requiring complex interventions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and hospital standards. Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families. Required Qualifications: Active RN license in the District of Columbia (or compact state license valid in DC). Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved nursing program. Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room (ER) nursing experience .
