JOB TITLE -REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER
This focus ofthis position is to support and enforce all safety, governmental, and Companyprocedures while meeting operational goals. This position will promote the mostefficient use of cylinder assets, vehicle assets, plant assets, as well asoptimizing cost by working to reduce production, distribution, and cylindermaintenance cost. This position will also recommend and oversee the region'sallocation of capital investments.
EssentialFunction
Safety,Compliance, Quality - Ensure branch locations are operated in accordance, andin compliance with industry regulations, Company procedures and safetystandards. Regulations include but are not limited to FDA, OSHA, DOT, EPA,NFPA. Maintain highest safety and quality standards for production anddistribution through communication, audit follow up, training, and enforcementof procedures and regulations.
Conducteffective accident investigations to determine root cause of accident,recommend, suggest or implement corrective actions.
Training -Train and guide Customer Service Managers and branch employees insafety/production/distribution techniques assuring their development to thefullest potential.
AssetUtilization - Assure efficient utilization of cylinder assets by monitoring andcontrolling stocking levels at all branches within region. Where necessary,accommodate cylinder needs through excess cylinder stock or by creating acapital investment.
Optimizevehicle and production equipment utilization within region by monitoringdistribution volumes/routes and recommending/implementing improvements orconsolidations.
Monitor andrecommend investments related to cylinders, vehicles, forklifts, productionequipment, and facility related items.
Asset/FacilityMaintenance - Oversee the maintenance of equipment, vehicles and buildings atall regional branch locations.
LocationPlanning/Financial Management - Gives input into location operating andplanning budget, monitoring of plans and goals and provides input to improveservice and decrease overall cost to customer. Active in integration ofoperations of any acquisitions within region. Assure locations are meetingservice and quality expectations of customers.
Management/ContinuousImprovement - Develop and monitor operational staffing levels and productivityperformance. Ensure support of all customer service and sales efforts bykeeping productivity high, controlling costs, reinforcing safety efforts andencouraging morale to achieve positive results. Work to continuously improveprocesses in all areas. Provide recommendations for increased departmentefficiency or cost reduction initiatives.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Industrial Management or relatedfield
WorkExperience
Preferred 1-3years of experience in a gas production or distribution environment with twoyears supervisory experience

Knowledge ofgas production/filling and distribution operations, methods, and practices.
Ability todevelop personnel and equipment structures to support present and futureoperations.
Must possessthe ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.

Planning: anability to think ahead and plan over a 30-day time span and prepare actionplans to achieve results.
