DescriptionJob Opportunity: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - RRT Facility: Novant Health New Hanover Emergency Department- Scotts Hill Location: Wilmington, NC Employment Type: Travel/Contract Shift: Night (3x12 Hours) 18:45 7:15 Start Date: 4/21/2025 Job Duration: 13 weeks Compensation: Rate Type: Hourly Over Time: 40 total hours in 1 week: 1.25% Double Time: None On-Call: 10$ Call Back: 1.5% Holiday Pay: 1.5% Additional Information: RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years - ADULT CRITICAL CARE - Must be comfortable working alone. Critical Thinking skills are a must. Patient Ratio Experience Required: 1:6 Traveler Experience: Unit accepts 1st time travelers. Must have strong clinical skills and be able to function alone. Critical Thinking skills are a must. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed. PATIENT DIAGNOSES: COPD, Asthma, Respiratory Failure, RSV, Cardiac SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Free-standing Emergency Department staffing one therapist per shift.
