Pay Information $2,186 per week About The Position Job Title: Nurse Coordinator Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Administrative Management Duration: 10 weeks Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 to 5 years of recent acute care experience, progressive leadership or management experience required License: Current Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS (ARC or AHA) Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited nursing program approved by the Board of Nursing BSN/RN with Bachelor's degree Previous house supervisor, administrative manager, or patient placement experience Description: The Nurse Coordinator provides administrative decision-making and support for the coordination of patient care services 24/7. Coordinates patient flow, communication, and emergency management. In collaboration with the Nurse Manager and staffing office, assists with staffing to leverage maximum labor productivity. Coordinates all emergency protocols (e.g., HICS, Code Red, Code Blue, Code Green). Participates in and provides leadership that promotes quality and strategic initiatives to facilitate remarkable patient care. Patient populations may include neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatrics.
