Pay Information $1,646 per week About The Position ID: Shift: 07:00-19:00 Description: : Centennial Medical Center Location: Nashville, TN Address: 2300 Patterson St. Nashville, TN 37203 Unit Name: CVICU Building: Tower Cost Center: 653/64125 General Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds : 16 Patient Ratios : 1:2, 1:1 for certain device patients Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Free floating charge nurse to assist staff. Unit secretary and Administrative Care Tech M-F . Student Nurse Externs on variable shifts that assist nurses by performing tech duties. Type of equipment : Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, Alaris IV pumps Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: 2 weekends/month, 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day), 2 Winter Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day) Floating policy: C/L employees float as needed, typically to other ICU s but can include other floors. Patient Experience requirements: None specific Hospital Specifics- Certifications: BLS Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have: Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience Advanced skills needed: Skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required, preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT. Procedures performed on unit: Provide care to immediate post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS. Perform central line insertion, swan insertion, intubations, etc. on unit. Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS Dress Code: (Required uniform) Scrubs black, red, or galaxy blue, scrub jackets/vests only Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines.
