Pay Information $1,612 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS CPI TNCC ENPC NIHSS Must-Have: Ultrasound Guided IV Placement Description: The Emergency Department has a total of 45 beds. The unit is staffed by 102 personnel members. Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters. Night shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 1 navigator, 7 RNs, 1 paramedic, 1 nurse tech, and 1 unit secretary. Patient ratio is 4:1. The department is equipped with GE Monitors & EKGs, Life Pak Monitors, and a Pyxis Medication Dispensing System. EMR utilized is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include reduction/splint, chest tube placement, accessing Port-a-Cath, blood product administration, and intubation. The ideal candidate will be respectful, team-oriented, and able to remain calm under pressure. Weekends involve 4 weekend shifts per schedule. Day shift weekend requirements are Saturday and Sunday. Night shift weekend requirements are Friday and Saturday.
