Job Summary:
OWT Global seeks an experienced and mission-driven Procurement Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of the procurement lifecycle. This role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality acquisition of goods and services that support the company's operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates strong supply chain expertise, and can independently manage vendor relationships while driving efficiency and value across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the full procurement lifecycle, including planning, sourcing, negotiation, ordering, and supplier management.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of goods and services.
  • Research, identify, and qualify new suppliers to expand and strengthen the company's vendor base.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and assess supplier capabilities.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and service-level expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across programs, finance, and operations to forecast procurement needs and align purchasing strategies with organizational goals.
  • Manage and oversee import and export activities to ensure compliance with applicable trade regulations.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and supplier documentation.
  • Support inventory management efforts by ensuring proper stock levels, timely deliveries, and effective replenishment strategies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline procurement operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare regular procurement reports, cost analyses, and supplier performance reviews for management.
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
  • Proven ability to source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices, supply chain principles, and vendor management.
  • Experience with import/export processes and compliance with applicable trade regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including cost and market analysis.
  • Proficiency with procurement or ERP systems, along with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external vendors.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance, if required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Military background
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community contracts.
  • Knowledge of small business subcontracting plans, supplier diversity requirements, and compliance reporting.
  • Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint or other ERP/procurement systems.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management skills with a record of achieving cost savings and process improvements
