Pay Information $2,011 per week About The Position Job Title: Travel RN - Neuro ICU Profession: RN Specialty: Neuro ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Previous ICU experience Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: The unit has 18-22 beds and a staff of 43. Patient ratios are 1:2, 1:1, and 2:1, depending on the shift. Typical equipment includes CRRT, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, EKG machine, NICOM, Level 1, Arctic Sun, and EVD. The EMR system used is Meditech. Ideal candidates will have experience with liver and kidney failure patients and/or transplants. Typical procedures performed on the unit include intubations, line placement, thoracentesis/paracentesis, EGDs, and bronchoscopy. The best personality fit is someone who is teamwork oriented.
