Pay Information $1,756 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: NRP, BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, ACLS Must-Have: Advanced skills in Fetal Monitoring Description: The unit consists of 24 labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum beds, as well as 10 NICU beds. Patient Ratios are 1:1-2 for labor, 1:4 for postpartum, 1:4 for well infants, and 1:2-3 for the NICU. Staff includes Registered Nurses, Unit Clerks, Patient Care Technicians, and Lactation Consultants. Equipment used on the unit includes fetal monitoring systems and Alaris IV pumps. The documentation system utilized is CPN. There are no floating requirements for this position. Experience in fetal monitoring, NRP, and ACLS is essential. Procedures performed in this unit include labor and C-section. The required dress code is black and hot pink. This unit has received various awards and recognition for excellence in care.
